There are too many pitfalls in cross-chain operations, so I specifically document the risk points and incident reviews of bridges. While I criticize harshly, deep down I actually hope the ecosystem becomes more mature.
Lately, I've seen people complain that cross-chain bridges are "too slow to confirm," and I just want to roll my eyes... Waiting a few more minutes at least can filter out a bunch of "temporary states": whether multi-signatures are genuinely signing, if only one or two people can make the decision, whether the oracle feed is acting up, whether the on-chain data is truly final or just pretending to be stable. Bridges, to put it simply, are just trading trust for speed. If you push them to be faster, they become more like a lottery.
