根據 Blockworks 研究員 Kunal Doshi 所提供的數據，該產品上線 40 小時即產生約 2,520 萬美元成交量，平均每個 5 分鐘窗口交易額約 5 萬美元，已達到原有 15 分鐘市場成交規模的 10% 至 20%。
為何說 Polymarket 上線超短期合約是「一步好棋」？
Doshi 對此發文指出，許多人拿 5 分鐘合約跟永續合約等方向性產品比較，但兩者並不能相提並論：
這些超短期合約，並不是用來賭比特幣漲跌的方向，比較像是一種快速的資金循環與套利工具 (capital recycling product)。
他引用數據表示，約 7.1% 的地址曾在單一窗口內同時買入 Yes 與 No，這些地址雖佔比不高，卻貢獻了 7.5% 的總成交量與 23.4% 的交易筆數：「他們有 72.3% 屬於掛單成交、有 80% 的時間窗口實現盈利、Yes 與 No 價格合計中位數約 0.9823。」
Doshi 強調，這符合典型的套利邏輯，當 Yes + No 價格總和低於 1 時，同時買入雙邊可鎖定價差收益。這反映出早期系統化套利資金已開始進場，但大規模流動性供給者尚未完全到位。
換句話說，Polymarket 在不改變產品本質的情況下，透過壓縮時間維度提升資本效率，進而放大市場規模，Doshi 稱此為「一步好棋」。

獨立研究員 Haotian 則認為，5 分鐘這種極高頻產品的推出，更適合機器人與自動化策略運行，而非人類交易者。
