PANews 2月27日消息，据Decrypt报道，美国哥伦比亚特区联邦检察官办公室宣布，诈骗中心特别工作组从东南亚犯罪网络中冻结和扣押的加密货币已超过5.8亿美元。检察官Jeanine Pirro表示，该工作组在冻结、扣押和没收来自缅甸、柬埔寨和老挝等国诈骗网络的加密资产方面取得了“重大进展”，并称将通过法律程序尽可能将这些资金返还给受害者。
诈骗中心特别工作组成立于2025年11月，由美国司法部、联邦调查局、特勤局、财政部等多个政府机构协调运作，目标是打击通过“杀猪盘”诈骗牟利的跨国犯罪网络。此类诈骗利用社会工程学诱导受害者购买加密货币，然后通过虚假投资域名和应用转移资金。
