Techub News reports that, according to The Financial Times, Robinhood has selectively removed certain prediction market contracts to avoid manipulation risks. Robinhood UK President Jordan Sinclair stated that the company is highly concerned about market abuse issues and will explicitly exclude some prediction markets that are easily manipulated (such as bets on the occurrence of specific words). Currently, Robinhood mainly provides regulated prediction services through partnerships with Kalshi and ForecastEx. It is reported that there have been multiple suspected insider trading incidents involving precise bets in the market before. Robinhood aims to reduce compliance risks by carefully selecting products. CEO Vlad Tenev previously predicted that this sector could potentially drive a trillion-dollar trading volume in the future.
