Meta is reportedly planning to lay off 10% of its staff

Mars Finance News: On April 18, it was reported that Meta plans to initiate the first round of large-scale layoffs for this year on May 20, with more layoffs to follow. The first round will cut approximately 10% of global employees, about 8,000 people. Meta also plans to carry out further layoffs in the second half of this year, but specific details, including dates and scale, have not yet been determined. Executives may adjust the layoff plans based on the development of artificial intelligence technology.
