Former President Obama's senior advisor takes on the role of Global Advisor at Coinbase.

According to Techub News, reported by Politico, senior Democratic strategist and former President Obama's senior advisor David Plouffe has joined Coinbase's Global Advisory Council. David Plouffe's role is to help Coinbase garner broader support, aimed at solidifying its bipartisan credibility.

David Plouffe has previously held positions at several well-known technology companies, including serving as a similar advisor at Uber, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and the competing cryptocurrency exchange Binance. He was a senior advisor for Obama's first campaign and later served in the White House. Last fall, he joined Harris's unsuccessful campaign team, working alongside Harris's loyal supporters and the team of aides and advisors left by former President Joe Biden.
