伊朗方面迅速回应，议长Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf表示，一旦其电网遭到攻击，海湾地区能源与水利设施将成为“合法打击目标”。当前，霍尔木兹海峡仍限制大部分商业航运，而该通道承担全球约20%的石油运输，任何封锁都可能放大供应冲击。
机构预测进一步推高市场预期。高盛已将布伦特原油短期目标价上调至110美元，并警告若海峡流量在未来数周维持低位，油价可能逼近甚至突破2008年147美元历史高点。与此同时，国际能源署负责人Fatih Birol指出，本轮危机的严重性或超过历史石油冲击事件总和。
能源市场结构性分化也愈发明显。当前布伦特与WTI价差扩大至14美元以上，创多年新高，反映出海运原油对地缘风险更为敏感。Energy Aspects分析师Amrita Sen认为，美国本土供应和战略储备使其具备更强缓冲能力，而其他地区将面临更直接的冲击。
此外，美国已联合多国释放4亿桶战略储备以稳定市场，但需求端的通胀压力仍在累积。汽油与天然气价格同步走高，进一步加剧全球经济不确定性。
