UN report: Oppose annexation and forced displacement against Palestine

On February 27th, the Golden Data News reported that UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Turck expressed on the 26th his opposition to proposals for annexation and forced displacement of Palestinian territories and people, which would threaten the security of the entire region. On that day, the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council held an interactive dialogue on the report of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on the occupied Palestinian territories. Turck stated in his report: ‘All attempts to normalize illegal actions, including proposals for annexation or forced displacement, must be firmly opposed, as these actions will threaten the peace and security of Palestinians, Israelis, and the entire region.’
