On December 27, the total turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets for the whole day was 1.43385 trillion yuan, an increase of 161.39 billion yuan from the previous day. Among them, the turnover of the Shanghai Stock Exchange was 586.09 billion yuan (518.937 billion yuan on the previous trading day), with a trading volume of 5.0 billion shares (4.22 billion shares on the previous trading day); the turnover of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange was 847.76 billion yuan (753.523 billion yuan on the previous trading day), with a trading volume of 6.8 billion shares (5.94 billion shares on the previous trading day). Oriental Fortune ranked first in turnover, with 17.958 billion yuan. Next were SMIC, ZTE, Tsinghua Unigroup, and Inspur, with turnovers of 11.379 billion yuan, 9.925 billion yuan, 8.103 billion yuan, and 8.07 billion yuan respectively.
