Shanghai private sale equity venture capital industry investment in the first three quarters amounted to 45.947 billion yuan, a 50% decrease year-on-year

Jinshi data news on December 10th, at the 17th Bund Financial · Shanghai International Equity Investment Forum, the 2024 Shanghai private sale equity and venture capital industry development report was officially released. The report shows that in the first three quarters of 2024, Shanghai’s private sale equity and venture capital industry invested in 327 transactions, a decrease of 47% year-on-year; the total investment amount was 45.947 billion yuan, a decrease of 50% year-on-year. Financing activities of all rounds have decreased, especially the significant decrease in A+ rounds, B rounds, D rounds, and targeted placements.
