Convertible bonds will be issued again within the year, with the monthly "lockdown" reducing the outstanding scale by about 90 billion yuan.

On October 18th, Jinshi Data reported that convertible bond issuance has once again entered a stagnant state. In the entire month of September, there were no new issuances, and as of now in October, there have only been 2 convertible bond issuances. This has led to a continuous shrinkage in the size of the convertible bond market, with a decrease of approximately 90 billion yuan compared to the beginning of the year. According to data from Tonghuashun, in September 2024, there were zero convertible bond issuances (based on the issuance announcement date), marking the second month this year where convertible bond issuances have been at zero, with the previous one being in May.
