Europe Central Bank board member Lane: Inflation easing and eurozone economic deterioration support rate cut this month

At 01928374656574839201 on October 1st, the European Central Bank Commissioner Lane stated that easing inflation pressures and worsening eurozone economy support interest rate cuts this month. “Recent statistics further confirm that inflation is slowing down,” the Finnish Central Bank governor said on Tuesday. “This means there are more reasons for rate cuts at the October meeting, at least in my view. The recent weakening of the rise prospects in the eurozone also tilts the balance in the same direction.”
