According to the latest global TV tracking report jointly released by Counterpoint Research and DSCC, the global TV shipment volume rose 3% YoY to 56 million units in the second quarter of 2024. This is a rise after four consecutive quarters of YoY decline. In terms of the market, the European market rose 13% thanks to the demand before the Olympics. In terms of brands, Samsung maintains its leading position with a market share of 15%, but the lead over the second place has narrowed. Hisense and TCL fiercely compete for the second place, with TCL reclaiming the second place with a slight advantage. LG ranks fourth, with a YoY shipment volume rise of 8% thanks to its strong performance in the European market.
