Shanghai Deputy Mayor Xie Dong: Action plan to promote the construction of a financial technology center will be introduced in the near future

On September 5th, 2024 Inclusion·The Bund Summit officially opened at the Huangpu World Expo Park in Shanghai, according to Jinshi Data. Xie Dong, Deputy Mayor of Shanghai, stated at the opening ceremony that Shanghai has always attached great importance to the development of financial technology, considering it an organic part of the construction of an international financial center, as well as an important link and focus of the international financial center and science and technology innovation center. With the support of all parties in recent years, some initial results have been achieved in the construction of Shanghai International Financial Technology Center. In the near future, we will also introduce an action plan to promote the construction of the financial technology center, further leveraging Shanghai’s advantages in resource aggregation, application scenarios, and business environment, and accelerating towards the goal of becoming a globally leading financial technology center.
