Jupiter联创 released a supplementary statement on platform issues last week: prioritized fee calculation errors became a major issue in severe congestion.
On August 9th, Meow, co-founder of Jupiter, released a supplementary statement regarding some of the issues faced by the Jupiter platform last week. He expressed sincere gratitude to the users and community members and apologized for technical and communication mistakes, promising to continuously improve the platform experience. For more details, please refer to the supplementary statement. Priority fee calculation error: There was a priority fee estimation error when calculating the gas required for frontend execution, which is not common but becomes a major issue during severe congestion. The team takes full responsibility for this. DCA shutdown issue: Due to CU estimation error, the DCA function of the platform was shut down for about 6 hours, resulting in users’ orders not being executed. The team expresses deep apologies for this and will review operations to enhance vigilance. Low Liquidity Token: To ensure the safe execution of DCA, the platform conducts price and slippage checks before trading. However, the mark price of low liquidity tokens may differ significantly from the execution price, causing the engine to be unable to execute the transaction. The team will improve the user interface, add more information, and optimize security check methods.
Future Plans: The team plans to add more information to the user interface and gradually implement intelligent security checks to address existing issues.
