Dow Fu Global: If the French market is calm, institutional investors may sell the Swiss franc

On June 20, Jin10 Data reported that Tim Graf, Director of Macro Strategy for DWS Group Europe, Middle East and Africa, stated in a report that institutional investors have been heavily overweight on the Swiss franc in recent weeks. However, if the French market stabilizes after the upcoming election, they may start selling the Swiss franc. He said, ‘If political turbulence subsides after the French election, we believe there is sufficient reason to sell the Swiss franc again and provide funds for high-yield currency longs.’ The safe-haven currency Swiss franc has performed strongly this month after French President Macron called for elections on June 30 and July 7.
