Reports of "bleaching" counterfeit banknotes have popped up across North America

Recently, a large number of counterfeit banknotes have appeared longest in North America, and police in Brownsville, Texas, have arrested a man suspected of making counterfeit banknotes. These counterfeit banknotes are not limited to one region, but are also found in places like Hawaii and Canada. The counterfeiter takes the $1 bill, bleaches the ink and prints it on the original coin to make it look like $100. The U.S. Secret Service seized nearly $22 million in counterfeit cash in 2023. Earlier this year, counterfeit $100 coins circulated in Ontario, Canada. The Crypto Assets space also faces fraud, such as fake tokens and the sale of testnet BTC, which should be worthless.
