Circuit&Chisel, founded by the former head of encryption at Stripe, has completed a $19.2 million financing.

Odaily News Former Stripe encryption and AI collaboration head Louis Amira and former Stripe encryption engineering head David Noël-Romas have completed a $19.2 million funding round for their new startup Circuit & Chisel, aimed at developing the AI agent payment protocol ATXP. In addition to their Stripe background (and funding support), Circuit & Chisel has also received investments from Primary Venture Partners and ParaFi, as well as Coinbase Ventures. The ATXP protocol is designed as the “HTTP protocol for AI agent payments,” aiming to address the current issue of a lack of standardized communication protocols among AI agents. Amira stated that if ATXP succeeds, it will revolutionize the microtransaction space. (Fortune Magazine)
