Jin10 Data reported on August 28th that Nanshan Aluminum announced its plan to shut down aluminum profile production capacity of about 120,000 tons per year. The equipment to be shut down was put into production from 2002 to 2012, with a capacity utilization rate of approximately 59%. In the fiscal year 2024, this capacity is expected to achieve sales of about 70,000 tons, accounting for 4% of the company's total revenue. The shut-down equipment will be disposed of through public bidding, and some auxiliary equipment will be retained for spare parts use. The net book value of fixed assets for the production line after the shutdown is approximately 68.55 million yuan, with an expected monthly reduction in depreciation expenses of about 2.09 million yuan. This move will optimize the company's resource allocation, focus on high value-added industries, and promote transformation for high-quality development.
