US media: Israel claims Iran is close to making nuclear weapons, but US intelligence says "it's still a long way off."

Jin10 Data, June 17 - According to CNN, when Israel launched a series of strikes against Iran last week, it also issued a series of serious warnings regarding the country’s nuclear program, suggesting that Iran is rapidly approaching a point of no return in its quest for nuclear weapons. To prevent such an outcome, strikes are necessary. However, according to four informed sources, U.S. intelligence assessments have reached a different conclusion - Iran is not actively seeking to develop nuclear weapons, and it is still three years away from being able to produce and launch nuclear weapons at targets of its choosing. An American official revealed that despite Israel’s continued airstrikes over several days, U.S. intelligence officials currently believe that Israel may have only delayed Iran’s nuclear program by a few months at most. Although Israel caused significant damage to Iran’s nuclear facilities in Natanz, another fortified uranium enrichment site in Fordow was reportedly unaffected.
