與此同時，以色列國防部長卡茲（Israel Katz）宣布對伊朗發動預防性攻擊，雙方聯合行動代號為「猶大之盾」（Operation Shield of Judah）。
據半島電視台等多家國際媒體報導，空襲目標涵蓋伊朗首都德黑蘭、伊斯法罕（Isfahan）、庫姆（Qom）、卡拉季（Karaj）及克爾曼沙赫（Kermanshah）等五座城市。
