彭博產業研究（Bloomberg Intelligence）分析師 Mike McGlone 早前拋出「比特幣恐下探 1 萬美元」的驚悚預測，隨即就遭幣圈社群痛批「危言聳聽」。面對質疑聲浪四起，他近日悄悄改口，轉而強調「2.8 萬美元」才是更具現實性的目標價位。
就在本周稍早，Mike McGlone 才剛發出嚴厲警告，斷言加密貨幣價格的快速下跌，可能是更廣泛金融壓力的前兆。他當時大膽預言，若美股觸頂、經濟陷入衰退，比特幣恐將面臨一路下探至 1 萬美元。
Mike McGlone 並將比特幣定位為「高貝塔（High-beta）」風險資產，認為市場自 2008 年以來慣用的「逢低買進」法則一旦失靈，比特幣將首當其衝、淪為「拋售重災區」。
然而，這番極端言論立刻引發幣圈與分析師的強烈反彈。市場分析師、 AdLunam 共同創辦人 Jason Fernandes 直接透過社群平台 X 和 LinkedIn 向 Mike McGlone 公開下戰帖，要求進行公開辯論。
在強大輿論壓力下，Mike McGlone 在 X 上發布了新的貼文，態度出現明顯軟化。他改口表示，根據歷史價格的分布數據，「2.8 萬美元」才是更可能出現的支撐關卡。不過，他同時也提到，自己的分析「正好說明了為何現在不該買進比特幣或多數風險資產」。
Jason Fernandes 向外媒《CoinDesk》透露，即便這位彭博分析師已將目標價上修，但他對 Mike McGlone 分析邏輯的核心質疑依舊成立。他說：
2.8 萬美元顯然比 1 萬美元合理得多。畢竟比特幣若要跌到 2.8 萬美元，市場需要出錯的條件，遠比跌到 1 萬美元來得少。
另一位市場分析師、 Quantum Economics 創辦人 Mati Greenspan 先前也痛批 1 萬美元的預測「簡直是一派胡言」。他當時指出：「Mike McGlone 居然想讓大家相信，每月交易量動輒數兆美元的資產，市值可以直接暴跌至 2,000 億美元。」
雖然 Mati Greenspan 認為比特幣跌至 2.8 萬美元的機率依然不高，但也提醒投資人：「在金融市場裡，我們永遠不能把話說死。」
Jason Fernandes 先前估計，若市場未爆發系統性的流動性危機，比特幣合理的重新定價區間應該落在「4 萬美元至 5 萬美元」之間。他指出，Mike McGlone 現在喊出的 2.8 萬美元，反而更接近他自己預測的下緣。
