据美国纽约南区检察官办公室披露，Incognito Market 自2020年10月上线至2024年3月被关闭期间，依托加密货币支付系统和名为“Incognito Bank”的内部转账机制，为全球用户提供匿名交易服务，累计促成超过64万笔交易，总金额突破1.05亿美元，平台注册买家超过40万名，卖家逾1800家。
调查显示，该平台销售的非法物品以毒品为主，包括海洛因、可卡因、LSD、MDMA、甲基苯丙胺、氯胺酮、阿普唑仑及标注为处方药的掺假药物。其中，大量“羟考酮”实际检测为芬太尼，直接导致至少一人死亡，并波及数十万家庭。
法官 Colleen McMahon 在宣判时指出，Rui-Siang Lin 的行为已构成“跨国数字毒品帝国”，并强调其利用区块链匿名特性掩盖犯罪资金流向。检方还披露，在平台关闭前，Lin 曾挪用用户资金并试图以曝光交易记录相要挟。
此案也与近期多起“加密货币洗钱暗网案件”执法行动形成呼应，包括 Helix 混币器与 BidenCash 黑市的资产查封。美国司法部门表示，未来将持续加强对“暗网加密货币犯罪”“比特币洗钱通道”及匿名支付系统的监管与打击。
