美国上市公司VivoPower拟斥资3亿美元收购Ripple Labs股份

PANews 12月18日消息，据CoinDesk报道，纳斯达克上市公司VivoPower（股票代码：VVPR）正通过一家新合资企业拓展其与Ripple相关的战略，该合资企业旨在收购价值数亿美元的Ripple Labs股份，使投资者间接接触价值近10亿美元的底层XRP资产。该公司在周二发布的公告中表示，其数字资产部门Vivo Federation已受韩国资产管理公司Lean Ventures委托，初步采购价值3亿美元的Ripple Labs股权。按当前XRP价格计算，VivoPower估计这笔股权约代表4.5亿枚XRP代币，价值约9亿美元。不过，该结构并未直接购买XRP。相反，Lean Ventures计划设立一个专门的投资工具，持有由Vivo Federation采购的Ripple Labs股份，目标客户为韩国的机构投资者及合格个人投资者。VivoPower表示，已获得Ripple批准购买首批优先股，并正与现有机构股东洽谈进一步收购事宜。根据该安排，VivoPower不会投入自有资产负债表资金，而是通过收取管理费和业绩分成获取收益。若初始3亿美元委托规模达成，公司目标三年内实现7500万美元的净经济回报。
