Một thợ đào Bitcoin đơn lẻ đã vượt qua xác suất cực thấp để giải được một khối và nhận trọn phần thưởng khối cùng phí giao dịch vào cuối ngày thứ Năm.
Theo dữ liệu từ trình khám phá blockchain Mempool, thợ đào này đã thu về tổng cộng 3,133 BTC (khoảng 284.633 USD) khi khai thác thành công khối số 927.474, sử dụng phần mềm đào đơn lẻ của CKpool. Trong đó, 3,125 BTC (283.944 USD) đến từ phần thưởng khối và 0,008 BTC (689 USD) là phí giao dịch.
“Chúc mừng thợ đào 1Ng9~VoQz với công suất 270 TH đã giải được khối solo thứ 311 tại solo.ckpool.org!”, nhà phát triển CKpool Con Kolivas viết trên X. “Một thợ đào quy mô như vậy chỉ có xác suất 1 trên 30.000 để giải được một khối mỗi ngày”, tương đương khoảng một lần trong 82 năm
Kolivas cho biết tổng hashrate này được phân bổ trên ba máy đào Bitcoin, mỗi máy khoảng 90 TH/s — tương đương hiệu suất của các ASIC phổ biến như Bitmain Antminer S19 làm mát bằng không khí.
Về quy mô, sức mạnh tính toán của thợ đào solo này chỉ tương đương khoảng 0,00002% tổng hashrate ước tính của mạng Bitcoin, đạt khoảng 1,15 ZH/s vào ngày 11/12 theo Mempool. Trong khi đó, các công ty đào Bitcoin niêm yết lớn như MARA và IREN hiện quản lý hashrate lần lượt khoảng 59,4 EH/s và 50 EH/s, theo các công bố gần đây.

Thông thường, các thợ đào nhỏ sẽ tham gia pool để nhận phần thưởng đều đặn theo tỷ lệ đóng góp, bởi việc đào đơn lẻ có xác suất trúng khối cực thấp. Dù vậy, một số vẫn chọn tham gia các pool solo với hy vọng “trúng số”, đổi lấy cơ hội nhận trọn phần thưởng khối nếu may mắn.
Đây không phải là lần đầu tiên một thợ đào solo giành toàn bộ phần thưởng khối, cũng chưa phải trường hợp may mắn nhất. Tháng trước, một thợ đào solo chỉ sở hữu hashrate 6 TH/s đã vượt qua xác suất 1 trên 180 triệu để khai thác thành công một khối, thu về khoảng 265.000 USD vào thời điểm đó.
Trong những tháng gần đây, các thợ đào solo sở hữu hoặc thuê hashrate lớn hơn cũng đã tìm thấy một số khối Bitcoin.
