People’s Financial News, March 23 — Gongyuan Co., Ltd. (002641) announced on March 23 that the company’s South China region has two production bases: Shenzhen Gongyuan and Guangdong Gongyuan. Shenzhen Gongyuan currently has less than 16 acres of owned land for manufacturing, mainly producing small-diameter plastic pipes such as PVC and PPR. The other land is leased, leading to high operating costs. Guangdong Gongyuan owns 133 acres of land, mainly for PE large pipes. In recent years, the company has upgraded some of Guangdong Gongyuan’s factories, with a production capacity of 100,000 tons of various pipes. To further integrate company resources and improve management efficiency, the company will consolidate its South China operations, relocating Shenzhen Gongyuan’s production equipment to Guangdong Gongyuan and other bases. The relocation is expected to incur costs such as moving expenses, debugging fees, and employee settlement costs, totaling approximately 30 to 35 million yuan.
