Harvey AI, Series C Funding Reaches $11 Billion Valuation!
Harvey AI Inc., a company developing AI tools for legal professionals, recently completed a $250 million Series C funding round. The round was led by existing investors GIC and Sequoia Capital, with participation from multiple investment firms including Anderson Horowitz Fund, Koh Tu, and Conviction Partners, valuing Harvey at $11 billion.
Harvey’s AI assistant can help lawyers automatically find relevant laws and case precedents and extract key information to generate drafts before drafting new legal documents, without manually reviewing大量法规文本. It can also automatically check whether existing contracts comply with updates to new regulations, automating document improvement work.
For legal teams requiring advanced document review capabilities, Harvey offers a tool called “Vault.” According to the company, this tool can analyze up to 100,000 documents. Vault can automatically organize documents collected during litigation, facilitating legal review, and also supports the organization and management of intellectual property and other document templates.
In addition to these built-in automation features, Harvey provides data from approximately 500 sources of regulatory submission documents, enabling lawyers to combine this data with internal information via services like Google Drive.
Earlier this month, Harvey launched a new tool that allows clients to build customized AI agents. Companies can use it to develop document summarization agents that adhere to internal style guides and automate complex multi-step tasks. The funds from the Series C round will be used to improve these customized features and expand the engineering team supporting AI applications for clients.
