According to Mars Finance, the AI presentation tool developer Gamma has completed a $68 million Series B financing, with a company valuation of $2.1 billion, led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from Accel, Uncork Capital, Script Capital, and South Park Commons. The company uses AI technology to automatically convert text into presentations and social media content, and has currently accumulated 70 million users, with over 600,000 paying users, and an annual revenue of about $100 million. Gamma has been profitable since 2023, with only 52 full-time employees. Its $12 million financing for 2024 has not yet been utilized, demonstrating efficient operational capabilities. The new funds will be used to expand enterprise services (with the latest enterprise account pricing at $480 per person per year), recruit AI engineers, and develop international business. Founder Grant Lee stated that they will challenge traditional presentation tools like PowerPoint and Google Slides, and consider the acquisition of competitors that have not achieved product-market fit.
