Elon Musk has significantly reduced his public direct support for Dogecoin, with his last explicit mention of the "internet meme cryptocurrency" in a tweet posted over a year ago in November 2024. That tweet argued that Dogecoin's fixed inflation rate was intentional. While Musk occasionally retweets or likes content related to Dogecoin posted by other users, the X Money payment platform set to launch publicly in April shows no signs of integrating Dogecoin, despite Musk's past strong advocacy for using Dogecoin in the payments sector.
