When you buy an item, what you're really paying with isn't just money, but the time you invested to earn that money. If a person must work constantly just to pay bills and loans, they're essentially trading time for survival, not genuine freedom. From this perspective, what's being consumed isn't money, but time from your life. When you think about it this way, every purchase becomes a question: How much of my labor time do I need to give up to buy it? And is this item truly worth exchanging this portion of my life for?
