BTC Dominance Pushes Toward 65% Resistance Level Again
⬤ Bitcoin dominance is creeping up toward a resistance level that’s turned it away multiple times before. Right now, BTC’s share of the total crypto market is pushing back toward that 65% zone, with recent readings hitting around 64.97%—basically knocking on the door of that downtrend line overhead.
⬤ The chart shows dominance climbing steadily over the past few months, and it’s now approaching that descending resistance line drawn across earlier peaks. Current levels are hovering in the low 60s, but all eyes are on that 65% ceiling above, which has acted like a brick wall in the past.
⬤ Breaking cleanly above that trendline would “change the game,” signaling that Bitcoin’s continuing to pull in more market share while altcoins struggle to keep up. But if dominance gets rejected here again, it could flip the script and give altcoins room to run.
⬤ Because Bitcoin dominance is one of the best indicators of where money’s flowing in crypto. A breakout above 65% would confirm BTC’s leading the charge, while another rejection could kick off a fresh altcoin season. With dominance testing this line again, the market’s at a turning point that’ll likely shape the Bitcoin-versus-altcoin dynamic heading forward.
