it needs 2 things:
- more original yield bearing collateral
- more USDT/USDC to enable looping
thankfully the nr of asset issuers and stablecoin megawhales is small and can be convinced to move to solana provided the right reasoning

controversial take: founders should not hire poor people
poor people are much more likely to dump your coins otc
rich employees wont. bullish on rich teams

chain decentralisation matters as the world goes more apocalyptic and descends into capital controls
but the chain also needs to be usable beyond just looping yield
it needs to house all financial primitives like perps, stables, prediction mkts
only one chain can do all that

private equity in crypto is about to take off
some funds are raising money from UHNWI to buy web2 firms and put them
on blockchain rails
some will be buying crypto companies that didnt deliver for years

what people dont realise is that solana is extremely performant but also decentralised
with MCP in the works it’s about to become the most performant decentralised chain
this will make it the go to distributed ledger for tvl, trading, agentic payments across east and west

no one is expecting perps on solana to take off but it’s the only eco apart from hype that can pull it off
