💻💰🏢🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄 🎁! Do you remember when I wrote about the STABLE token in the STABLE/USDT pair, which I wanted to sell through a limit order? This is a continuation of that story, now with practical results and important conclusions. Back then, I set the price above the market and decided not to rush, giving the market a chance to reach my level. But the spot market operates by its own rules, and if the price doesn't reach the specified level, the order is not executed.
After some time, the exchange automatically canceled my limit order, and all STABLE tokens returned to my spot balance. This is a normal technical procedure, not an error or a loss. In such situations, it's important not to panic, but to see it as a signal to stop and review the market situation, because the lack of order execution only means that the market did not confirm my scenario.
After that, I looked at the chart and candles to assess the overall market sentiment. There was an upward movement visible, but without clear confidence in further growth. It was at this point I decided not to wait any longer, but to change my approach and act within what I understand well. This decision was not impulsive but a logical continuation of my analysis.
The decision to convert STABLE into GT should be explained sequentially:
1. The limit sale in the STABLE/USDT pair did not happen, so the initial plan did not work.
2. The market did not provide enough grounds to expect a quick achievement of my target price.
3. GT has a clear practical value for me on the exchange.
4. The exchange allowed me to retain control over my funds without forced selling.
5. Such a step matched my level of experience and the goal I set.
Particularly important is the attitude towards the financial result. If I lost a small amount in the process, it is not critical and does not cause regret. For a person just getting acquainted with the crypto market, it is much more important to learn to act cautiously than to chase maximum profit without understanding the risks.
This situation clearly shows that at the initial stage, the main thing is to do what makes sense to you. It is better to make a simple and logical decision than to engage in complex instruments without experience. This is how confidence, discipline, and a calm attitude towards the market are formed, where each step is not stress but an informed choice. Therefore, I am satisfied with the result and the lesson I learned from this story.
