Cornell University’s Brooks Technology Policy Research Institute will serve as an academic partner, with the first report expected to be published in April 2026. This study will combine quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, focusing on public perceptions of privacy in daily transactions and trust in institutions, aiming to provide empirical evidence for policy debates on privacy tools and developers facing a challenging regulatory environment.
