Hong Kong media: The Hong Kong authorities have officially renamed "virtual assets" to "digital assets".

Gate News bot reports that according to Hong Kong media, the Hong Kong government has published the “Hong Kong Digital Asset Development Policy Declaration 2.0”, in which the wording indicates that the government has officially changed “virtual assets” to “digital assets”. The industry believes that “digital assets” is more comprehensive, covering the tokenization of existing financial products, and has a more positive image. Hong Kong Legislative Council member Kow Tuck Kin stated that after the renaming, digital assets have a broader coverage and clearly outlines the policy vision and direction for the next steps.
