The Iranian Revolutionary Guard says the Strait of Hormuz has been closed.

According to a report by Jinse Finance on March 27, Iranian media states: The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that the Strait of Hormuz is now closed, and any passage through this channel will face “severe measures.” All vessels “traveling to and from ports of hostile allies and supporters of the U.S. and Israel” are prohibited from using any waterways or heading to any destinations. Earlier, Iranian media reported that three container ships of different nationalities were forced to turn back from the Strait of Hormuz after warnings from the Iranian Navy. (Reuters)
