Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was seen front row at Prada's Milan Fashion Week show, sparking speculation about a forthcoming collaboration between the two to launch AI glasses. Previously, it was reported that Prada is developing AI glasses expected to be released in 2024. Additionally, EssilorLuxottica has renewed its long-term licensing agreement with Prada. This partnership will mark Meta's official entry into the high-end fashion eyewear market, further enhancing its existing Ray-Ban and Oakley Meta product lines. By 2025, sales of Ray-Ban and Oakley Meta under Meta are projected to exceed 7 million units. Meanwhile, consumers are increasingly concerned about privacy issues related to AI wearable devices.
