Since late September, the creator of ChatGPT has traveled to several places in Asia to accelerate global artificial intelligence chip manufacturing capabilities. He visited companies including TSMC, Foxconn, Samsung, and SK Hynix. Sam Altman urged these companies to expand their production capacity and prioritize OpenAI's orders. Many of these companies are suppliers for Nvidia (NVDA.O). Altman also plans to visit investors in the UAE to raise funds for OpenAI's infrastructure expansion and research. (The Wall Street Journal)
