Early HYPE Whale Executes $8.93M Token Sale, Transfers Funds from Hyperliquid to Aster
Gate News bot message, a significant HYPE token holder has executed a substantial sale operation. The whale, who initially invested $17.4M to acquire over 2M HYPE tokens (valued at $89M), has sold 201,900 HYPE tokens worth $8.93M within a two-hour timeframe.
The transaction involved moving funds from Hyperliquid to Aster platform. Following this sale, the whale retains ownership of 1.8M HYPE tokens, currently valued at $80M.
The whale’s initial investment dates back nine months ago, when they used three different wallets to deposit 17.4M USDC into Hyperliquid, purchasing 2M HYPE at an average price of $8.68 per token.
