The SNPIT Protocol is a decentralized system that allows users to upload and utilize global image data embedded with location and time information.
The primary objective is to build the “World Repository”, a comprehensive database of unprocessed photographs with accurate timestamps and location data.
This initiative aims to preserve the authenticity of the captured world, providing valuable resources for applications in cultural heritage restoration, regional revitalization, metaverse materials, AI training data, advertising, and more. Users can earn tokens by uploading photos, which can then be used to upgrade their camera NFTs or exchanged for SNPIT tokens (SNPT), enhancing their experience within the ecosystem.
SNPIT’s token economy is structured around two primary tokens: SNPIT POINTS (STP) and SNPIT TOKENS (SNPT).
Users earn STP by taking photos with their camera NFTs, participating in photo battles, and other in-app activities. STP can be used to upgrade camera performance, mint new items, or increase photo storage capacity. SNPT is the main cryptocurrency of the ecosystem, which can be exchanged for STP within the app. The exchange process is governed by an Automated Market Maker (AMM) similar to Uniswap’s model. Additionally, the platform includes FREE POINTS (FP) for users who participate with a free camera, which can be used to level up or exchange for various types of electronic money within the app.
SNPIT’s roadmap is divided into three main phases:
Phase 1: Launch of the Game-Fi platform “SNPIT,” where users utilize Camera NFTs to take photos and earn rewards.
Phase 2: Expansion of SNPIT features and the introduction of photo-sharing on Pictier. This phase includes the sale of “Sacred Place NFTs” and “Guardian NFTs,” which further integrate the token economy with Web2 applications.
Phase 3: Completion and release of the “World Repository” for external use. This phase aims to enhance awareness of environmental conservation and cultural heritage through the widespread use of the photo database.
Key milestones include the development and launch of these phases, the expansion of the token economy, and the integration with existing applications for mass adoption.
SNPIT ensures the quality and authenticity of photos through its Camera NFT system, which captures images with embedded timestamps and location data.
The platform categorizes cameras into different rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary) with varying performance statuses, such as Image Quality, Efficiency, Luck, and Battery. Users can improve their camera performance by earning and spending SNPIT POINTS (STP). High-quality photos are required to participate in photo battles and contests, ensuring that only authentic and valuable images contribute to the “World Repository.” Additionally, the system includes mechanisms to prevent the misuse of cameras and maintain the integrity of the uploaded content.
SNPIT stands out with several unique features:
~ Game-Fi Integration: SNPIT combines photography with a gamified reward system, allowing users to earn tokens by capturing photos with Camera NFTs.
~ World Repository: The platform aims to create a comprehensive, unprocessed photo database with accurate timestamps and location data, providing valuable resources for various applications.
~ NFT Economy: Users can mint, upgrade, and trade Camera NFTs and other item NFTs, enhancing their photography experience and contributing to the token economy.
~ Photo Battles and Contests: SNPIT includes competitive elements where users can participate in photo battles and contests, earning rewards and recognition.
~ Pictier Integration: The Pictier app allows users to stack and connect photos taken at different times or seasons, creating a unique, language-independent photo-sharing experience.
