According to TheMinerMag, Adam Back and two affiliates are asking a U.S. court to enforce a $28 million arbitration award against Chinese mining chipmaker Innosilicon (Innosilicon). According to the complaint, Innosilicon became aware of hidden cracks in the chips of these machines in March 2018 (months before delivery), but still completed delivery in September 2018. The HKIAC ruled that Innosilicon had breached all three contracts and awarded Innosilicon damages of 425.98 BTC to Blockstream, 1,393.79 BTC to Thigmotropism, and 51.84 BTC to Back.
