PANews reported on March 18th that on-chain data shows Ethena has purchased the trading code for USDe on Hyperliquid and confirmed plans to integrate its stablecoin USDe into the Hyperliquid network. Analysis reveals that the funds used to purchase the USDe code, originating from Wallet 0x4758...d605, can be traced back to the deployer (EOA) of Ethena, further verifying the connection to the Ethena team.
In addition, Ethena recently sent funds to Hyperliquid and set up a 4-8 multi-signature Wallet, indicating that it may be preparing for deployment. It is worth noting that a related proposal was put forward in the Ethena governance forum in October last year, but official progress has not been announced before. Currently, Ethena may be waiting for the interoperability of HyperEVM and HyperCore to go live before officially deploying USDe.
