Lately, when I look at on-chain data, I always get the feeling of, “Am I once again a bit behind?” Later, I thought about it—maybe it’s not that I’m slow, but that the “on-chain” stream I’m looking at was already running late… Nodes sync a bit slower, RPC load is a bit higher, and indexers update a bit later—so the fund-flow direction you see can be off by one or two blocks. Especially during Airdrop season, everyone crowds in to complete tasks, and platforms’ anti-sybil measures and the point-based system make it feel like you’re clocking in for work. The more on-chain requests there are, the more mystical the whole experience becomes. Anyway, now when I check data, I just assume there’s some delay. Cross-check a few more sources, and don’t get restless just because you see “smart money moving.”
