If I had to keep only one habit: before each cross-chain/authorization, pause for 5 seconds and double-check the target chain and contract address. L2 has indeed improved the user experience over the past few years, and gas fees are more friendly, but my personal compromise is: for daily small transactions, I prefer to drop them on L2; if I need to hold for the long term or involve large amounts, I still prefer to go back to the mainnet for peace of mind—paying a bit more is like paying an "insurance fee." Recently, AI Agents and automated trading have become popular again, being hyped as if you can win without lifting a finger. Honestly, it’s more like outsourcing the confirmation clicks you’ve already made… Anyway, I’d rather pay a little more gas than rely on a “self-operating” script for security.
