Lately, the more I think about it, the more I feel that the phrase "I'm looking at on-chain data" is a bit mystical. What you're actually clicking on is: a perspective provided by a certain RPC + the results from an indexer + you also have to see if it syncs quickly, whether it caches, and if it misses some transactions. It's common for nodes to lag behind by a few blocks, and if the indexer queues a bit longer, what you see as "confirmed" might just be "the other server thinks it's close enough." So sometimes, it's not that the chain is slow, but that the person you're asking is slow...

During airdrop season, this is even more obvious. The task platform is very strict with anti-witchcraft measures, and the point system makes people compete like at work. As a result, many are staring at "Did I succeed in the interaction?" with extreme anxiety. To put it simply, don't take the front end as the ultimate truth: for key operations, I check multiple browsers, switch RPCs, and if things don't match up, I wait a bit first—don't rush to doubt your own skills.
