Recently, I've seen PFP/member cards arguing about "long-term brand value" again, but I think many times it's more like a short-term attention-shifting game. The community, to put it plainly, relies on emotions to survive; when things are hot, everyone is a "family," but when things cool down, only a few people are still speaking up.

What I care about more now are the "signals," which are actually quite simple: when something goes wrong outside, like a cross-chain bridge being hacked or an oracle error, people's first reaction is "wait for confirmation," preferring to be a bit slow rather than rushing ahead—can this consensus be maintained? Projects that can hold steady, whether they are memberships or PFPs, are the ones with some foundation; if they can't hold steady, even the most attractive avatar is just a passing breeze. Anyway, I'm not in a hurry to change my avatar...
