Macron speaks out to welcome the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran: This is a "very good thing"
French President Macron on the 8th local time expressed his welcome to the United States and Iran for announcing a two-week ceasefire, calling it “a very good thing.” Macron stated at the start of a defense and security officials’ meeting, “We look forward to this (ceasefire) agreement being fully observed across the region in the coming days and weeks, and creating conditions for related negotiations.” Macron added that the situation in Lebanon remains severe and called for Lebanon to also be included in the ceasefire agreement.
