It marks that Akita Micro has connected the most upstream “bottleneck” link in the core track of electronic paper (E-Paper). Why was the new patent news not announced in a timely manner? The company strictly complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding information disclosure, and there are no major matters that should be disclosed but have not been disclosed. 2. The company’s electronic paper mainly focuses on the research and development of small- and medium-sized products. The products can be applied in price tags, nameplates, smart home, and other fields. Early on, the company completed key optoelectronic material R&D through cooperation with Shenzhen Tsinghua Research Institute, Southern University of Science and Technology, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, achieving full-chain independent R&D from pigment particle modification, electrophoretic liquid formulation, capsule synthesis, membrane coating, to electronic paper module processing. As of December 31, 2024, the company has applied for 32 patents related to electronic paper technology, with 6 invention patents authorized and 8 utility model patents authorized.
