Once I read Eileen Chang, I always felt like there was a hazy fog in between.


In my impression, that era was full of gunfire and turmoil, but the characters in her stories still enjoyed flowers, tailored clothes, snacks, and leisurely days.
Only now do I suddenly realize that even in the most turbulent times, people still have to live their lives well.
