Recycled lead smelters' shipment sentiment is diverging; affected by the traditional off-season for consumption, downstream terminal demand remains weak.

Today, domestic recycled lead smelters show mixed shipment sentiments: some manufacturers predict that during the traditional off-season from April to May, downstream demand will be relatively weak, and shipment pressure will increase. Coupled with the fact that current lead prices have risen compared to last week, they choose to follow market trends and sell flexibly at prices slightly below online prices; another group of manufacturers, supported by production costs, insist on maintaining stable prices and are reluctant to cut prices to sell. Overall, lead prices remain volatile at high levels, downstream procurement and acceptance remain weak, and actual market transactions are generally dull. (SMM)
